Perla, an Icelandic horse who was born on Karen’s family horse farm. Karen gave her to a friend when Perla turned 3. The horse was bought and sold a few times in various states. Karen finally found her and bought her back. The painting shows Perla galloping happily back home once again

I randomly put these peppers and cucumber on the table after picking them from my vegetable garden. The composition and color immediately caught my attention. Thus this painting is born.
